The KING'S Daughter by Stormi Willis

THE KING’S DAUGHTER
BY STORMI WILLIS

It amazes and delights me when the Lord sends me a thought to write on or an idea comes to me that I am not sure of, but He is. Then He sends me a confirmation from His own word. Today, I was trying to come up with a pen name for articles that I have written to help women and girls find and know their place in this world we live in according to God’s preserved, infallible Word, the King James Version of the Bible. The name that kept coming to the forefront of my mind was ‘The King’s Daughter’. So, I created an email address ‘TheKingsDaughter@myway.com’ and when I got to the signature or tag line I looked over some notes I had regarding the word “write” as mentioned in the Bible. I came upon a verse that I wanted to use from Psalms 45:1 “My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue [is] the pen of a ready writer.” I thought that was very good, seeing as I have written most of my life and when the Lord, MY King, thinks enough about writing to put it in the Bible, I get really excited. But that is not the best part.

My Pastor has preached that it is always imperative to know who and what the verses are talking about and to whom they are talking to when you read the Bible. My Pastor’s Wife has taught that is very important to look up words in the dictionary so that you use them as intended, because many words do not mean what you think they do. Please notice that my Pastor is a Man who preaches to the entire Church and that my Pastor’s Wife is a woman. She teaches the ladies of the church who are interested how to have a happy home by becoming Godly women, wives, and mothers. He preaches, She teaches. She is not a preacher. There is no such thing as women preachers in the Bible. None, Anywhere, Period! It is not of God, just as it is not of God for marriage to be twisted into something evil. Men are to marry women and Women are to marry men. Anything that violates the sacred vows of marriage is evil and straight out of Hell.

Anyway, I was getting to the best part. The pen name I chose was ‘The King’s Daughter’ and the verse I found was good, but I had to look up the word inditing, which means to write down, proclaim, to give literary or formal expression to, to put down in writing.
So, I was on the right track, which was good. Then I went to my Bible to verify that the king in the verse was the Lord, who is the King of Kings. It was, and there was more… The best part is that twice in Psalms 45 were two references to The King’s Daughter. What a glorious confirmation for a woman like me, who was nothing when God found me and saved me, and is nothing without Him.

Psalms 45 KJV
“My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue [is] the pen of a ready writer.
Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee. Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace. Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.”
